Would you like to spend a week in Mandarian Oriental and why?

Yes, I would really like to spend a week in such a luxury hotel just to try to live the high life of the wealthy people. It must be really nice to know that you have staff members 24 hours a day upon request.  However, I feel like I could spend that amount of money, that I would pay for my visit there, in the better way. But, considering that someone else would pay for me, I would gladly enjoy my stay there.I would definitely try out everything that they have in their offer and I bet that I would remember this experience for the rest of my life.

The live-shoot system usually looks like that on the beginning  only two first episodes are being filmed and after drama being aired they continue to shoot the rest of series. Normally one episode is about 60-70 minutes long and it’s aired two times per week. But why people use this system since sometimes filming and editing may also take place at the same day as airing(even few minutes before the airing!) and it’s really risky? Well, sometimes it takes time for production team to get a confirmation of airing time slot and they don’t want to take a risk of not being able to recover production costs. Another disadvantage of this system is that it leads to harsh working conditions, for example actors due to not organized filming schedules or last minute script changes. However, you can find some benefits from this live shoot system since Korean viewers like to give a feedback on the dramas. Hovenden's "The last moments of John Brown- video 2

The video that I've watched was about Hovenden's painting called "The last moments of John Brown".  For me, one of the most interesting things in the video was simply the figure of John Brown. How he tried to fight slavery using also very violence methods and how his actions divided people in America. I was very surprised by the fact that after his execution he had been heroized by Northern press during the Civil War. However, when we get to times of the First World War historians tend to look at the John Brown in the very negative light. martyr People were debating in America whether John Brown was a martyr or a murder. incite The opponents of the current government conspired to incite the riot. abolitionist The abolitionist movement tried to end slavery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7o-kAP8PqA

Korean Webcomics and Webtoons

The history of webtoons have began in 1990's and started growing bigger in 2003, when portal sites like Naver or Daum began they webtoon portal services. Over the years these internet comics have developed into stories of various genres. It's also possible for readers to leave the comments under the webcomic to communicate with the artist. The popularity of webtoons is growing year on year. In May 2014, Naver published 128 weekly webcomics while Daum around 85.  The growth of webtoons has led to the trend of adapting the most popular ones such as "Secretly Greatly" or "Misaeng".
